My sea food spot!! Not many places with a great food and decent prices A less a go there every week
I was feeling some fish tacos, so I decided to try this place based off the good ratings on yelp and I'm glad I did. Its right off a big street and from the outside, it looks like a really average restaurant. Once you go inside, you'll notice how crowded it actually is and how its hard to find seating. I'll caveat that this place isnt that big, but its always nice to see a ton of people going in and out. I tried a couple of fish tacos (grilled and battered) for variety as well as ceviche and an Ensenada burrito. I know this place is popular for their fish tacos (ranging from $4-$5 each), but i actually really enjoyed their burrito. Not only was it big in size, but it was also full of shrimp that was cooked perfectly and beef that was juicy and tender. It also had a creaminess to it, which helped bring all the flavors together. I would definitely come back to get it again. The prices here are not super cheap compared to other mexican joints, but the price is well worth it.
I'm a regular here, and I absolutely love it! The Baja taco is a favorite of mine--super tasty and quite filling. I'm also a big fan of their tostadas and the Campechanas. Honestly, I've yet to try anything on the menu that I don't like--everything is just so good! If I had to be picky, I'd say the aguas frescas could use a little improvement. The place is usually pretty busy, so finding parking or a spot to dine in can sometimes be tricky. That said, the staff is always cool and super helpful, which makes the experience even better!
The place isn't too big, but the food is awesome I love this place. Everything is fresh and tasty. If you want a fish taco this restaurant does not disappoint. Quick and great service
Ok viewers I keep coming to this place because it is off the chain delicious When we travel from out of town here I make it point to stop here at least twice while in L.A because they serve the best Mexican food ever Our food was flavorful and hearty portions I love the yellow peppers by the Dozen I tell you. You must stop by here and devour your hearts delight
Solid tacos. My favorite is the fish taco(on Wednesday they are on sale). You won't be disappointed but be sure to go early since there's always a line. Service is fast. Pro tip:make sure to ask for the white sauce
Ambiance: it's a corner spot with private parking lot, it feels very chill inside, limited seats for large group, and it serves more like a place for takeout or quick bites Service: very friendly and patient with questions, provided useful suggestion Food: seafood emphasized menu for taco, burritos, tostadas, ceviche etc., they have the self serving bar for yellow peppers, lemon slices, and onions BAJA TACO Grilled - **** Shrimp & Fish, fresh taste, recommend BAJA TACO Battered - **** Shrimp & Fish, crispy texture, recommend ENSENADA TACO - *** Surf n Turf, shrimp and beef, average taste Ceviche Tostada Baja Style - ***** mixed seafood, including shrimp, octopus, scallop, fish, conch, clam, imitation crab etc., fresh and tasty, highly recommend Price: generous portions and reasonable prices for the premium quality, about $20+ per person for a very full filling meal
Some of the most fresh Fish tacos I've had in the South Bay. This location is my favorite. The customer service is great here. At times the line can get a bit big but they get to everyone pretty quick. Love that this location has a little outdoor patio section to eat if the indoor area is full. The freshness of the tacos and fish are great, if you get the grilled or battered they are both delicious! Their Tostadas de Ceviche are so so good! Anything and everything you get hits the spot. I like to get them plain and have the toppings on the side that way they don't get soggy. Their bathrooms are always clean & there is always plenty of parking inside or on the street.
Fried shrimp tacos are amazing. Same with the Baja burrito. Both were great portion sizes, especially the burrito. That thing was like 2-3lbs. I'd skip the beans and rice but make sure you grab a pepper from their salsa bar. They season it with something that tastes savory and sweet. They accidentally served us grilled shrimp tacos instead of breaded and those were underwhelming. Im so glad they fixed the order and gave me the breaded option. My friends ordered the ceviche which was super flavorful and a great portion for someone that wants something light. They also ordered the sting ray taco, which was fatty and super fishy. It kind of had the consistency of a scallop. They would not recommend ordering that in the future.
If you guys ever raise your prices or close down I will cry! Broke full time student here and I can get a breaded fish taco and 1 order of regular shrimp ceviche and leave feeling full and satisfied. It is very affordable as well. One of the few places where you can say that nowadays! And I know this is part of a chain but I used to work by the el Segundo location and that one does not even compare and 3 times in a row they over charged or messed up my order. So that is why I love this location. The ambiance is small, and always crowded (because the food is mouthwatering and FRESSSSH!) They even have a side bar where u can get peppers, limes and onions. Sometimes those look a mess and sometimes the limes are not fresh but still edible. Thanks again for having delicious and quality food for a great price!
